Redfin is surprisingly one of my favorite sushi places in Seattle. From the outside it seems more like a belltown hangout, and this image persists even after you walk in. However, the fish quality is easily one of the best in the city. The sushi platter will not disappoint, and it's priced the same as many other sushi platters in the city but tastes SO much better. The sashimi platter is enormous and very fresh every time i order it. Also, the happy hour rolls/sets are a decent value (they used to be cheaper) for when you just want a small bite.
Bottom line: Some of the best sushi in town. When I want sushi without any regrets I go here and get the platter and it never disappoints. If you want the same I highly suggest you try out Redfin.
A straightforward sushi restaurant with good quality, decent prices, and a friendly staff. The sushi was good as well as the other appetizers that I tried, and I walked away from the experience without regretting my investment. It's definitely a place I wouldn't mind revisiting when I find myself on top of Queen Anne.
I've given this place a shot 3 times now. The first time was random, 2nd was convenience, and the 3rd was because it was ranked in the top 10 in Seattle on Yelp. Yes it's good, the staff is very nice, and the quality is good. However for the price I wasn't very satisfied. I've tried the sushi platter which is ok, and I've also tried having the chef's decide what I have for the evening. I spent around $70 that night trying to be impressed and it just didn't happen. It's pretty good, but I can get pretty good for $25 easily at many places around the city.
The food and sushi is good. There's no denying that. However, the staff is incredibly frustrating to deal with. Unless you flag someone down (including when you walk in to get a table) chances are you will be ignored until you say something or until you decide to leave, which i've seen happen very often. The prices are a little high for what you get as well, which makes me wonder why people don't go elsewhere for the same quality sushi plus friendly service, and possibly better prices. Maybe it's just the location.
If there was one sushi restaurant I could remove from Seattle it would be this place. The combo dish I ordered didn't even list what came with it, and for the price I paid ($16) it had only 2 pieces each of salmon, tuna, hamachi, and then a small roll. The quality was aweful and I felt completely robbed. Do yourself a favor and AVOID this place.
