redmond sushiland is soo much nicer than the bellevue location. it's cleaner, cuter, and a lot more roomier.
the service is slightly better than bellevue but instead of rude employees in bellevue, you get slow teenagers working here.
the quality is about the same as bellevue so you're getting a pretty good deal/value.
i have never felt so poor eating at a sushi place. with prices designed to put you in bankrupty - i have never stepped foot back into blue c sushi.
if the sushi was delicious, i'd give you the extra few bucks. but it's not. with prices more expensive then wasabi bistro or i love sushi - you're getting half the quality of sushi. the prices of the cheapest plate is about the price of sushiland's most expensive plate.
but..i do have to say, the interior of this place is really really cute. =( too bad it's wasted on such horrible food/price.
so i only had a piece or two of sushi because i was part of a party that had special menus. i had ordered the fish..maybe it was halibut but it was really good.
the decorations, atmosphere here is really nice and overall a very nice restaurant.
they have a pretty good happy hour and that's probably what keeps them going. other then that, not a place you could eat @ everyday..or you'd go broke. =)
Ok, so i've never seen Ichiro here...not any other Mariner..or Japanese Mariner.. BUT if i could imagine where i would see a Japanese celebrity, it would be here.
The atmosphere here is totally hang out and grab a few beers as you snack on small Japanese dishes (they don't really have sushi). The customer service isn't always great but its nice to actually go to a Japanese restaurant...ran by Japanese people!
Since Maekawa is known for their small plates its best to get a variety so you can see what the have to offer. =) i like their kara-age.
thumbs up from me =)
musashi's is pretty good but what really makes the deal is that they're really cheap! the sushi here would really not be anything that incredible but just know you're getting a steal of a deal- makes you want to come back.
the interior is tiny! and fits probably 25 in a small crowded restaurant. i can't remember exactly what i had, maybe the california roll but it had tofu in it and that was different but nevertheless, good =)
Dragonfish is located in Seattle and is just down the street from Westlake/Pacific Place. It would be a great place to take someone visiting Seattle. Their sushi is ok/good but their happy hour portions are small. I could easily spend $17 here not including drinks (@ happy hour prices thats a little much). The restaurant is cute though and other good appetizers.
